Instructor:  Donny Tomlin, Japanese Maple Nursery
and Grower for 20 years
$15/$12 for Garden Members
Learn how to grow Japanese maples from seed, how to care for them and grow them to a size suitable for planting in your yard.  Donny will discuss maple history and culture, and you will see some of the unusual cultivars.  He will also demonstrate summer grafting techniques and you will have the opportunity to try hands-on grafting for yourself.  Class members will receive handouts, and after class, have the chance to purchase rare Japanese maples.
