Join us as we enjoy the refreshing world of herbs grown by Master Gardener, Dianne Brannon.  She will bring herbs from her garden, provide growing instructions as well as culinary uses, discuss herbal teas, pesto, and demonstrate herbal vinegar preparations.  Participants will make their own herb butter to be used during lunch which includes chicken salad, French bread, salad with herbal vinaigrette, fresh peaches and blueberries with lemon basil dressing, mint tea, and cinnamon basil cookies.   Participants will take home handouts and a rooted and potted mint sprig from Dianne’s garden.
