2-Part Class - August 7 & 8

Ever wonder what you could do with your favorite broken vase or china plate?  Here is your chance to put them to good use while creating a playful mosaic garden pot.  You will learn the basics of how to create mosaics in the pique assiette style using pieces of broken pottery, china, glass, buttons, figurines, and jewelry to create a 8"x9" decorative flower pot, the ultimate in recycling.  Session 1 will cover basic tile techniques, project design, and you will adhere tile to the pot.  In Session 2, you will learn to grout and finish your project.  Tiles and materials will be provided.  However, if you wish, please bring your own broken plates, china, buttons, figurines or jewelry to personalize your piece.
