We have Oakleaf Hydrangeas in our yard.
Q.  We have Oakleaf Hydrangeas in our yard. Do they require any pruning to maintain a fullness to them? Is it best to just let them be or should they be cut back periodically?

A.  Unless it necessary to conserve room, I do not recommend cutting back hydrangeas. Cutting them forces unnatural growth which takes away from the appearance of the plant.
