Q. How do I get my blue hydrangeas to change color?

A.  Color change varies somewhat by cultivar, but in general, Hydrangea
macrophylla (unless it is a white one) is blue in acid soil and pink in
alkaline soil. To make it pink, add lime or plant it near concrete such as
a footing, foundation, or paving.
