Do you have any of the variegated leaf hydrangeas?
Q.  Do you have any of the variegated leaf hydrangeas? The flowers are "lacy-like"? I saw some in Penryn, California and tried to "start" them this past fall and didn't have any luck with the variegated, but did with the all-green leaf.

A.  The variegated hydrangea is a sport from a green leaf type hydrangea and at times will revert back to the green leaf. This cultivator has a blue lacecap flower that is very attractive. When you plant a variegated Hydrangea, remove any green shoots that appear on the plant. The name of this cultivator is Mariessi.
