Q. A friend told me that she has remembered from years ago the most gorgeous red hydrangea. Is there such a plant? A. Yes, there are red hydrangeas but they require an area that has a cool summer climate in areas like the Northwest, the west coast of England, Normandy in France and areas like Nantucket and Long Island. It seems like they prefer alkaline soil. |
